Welcome to St. Matt’s

St. Matthew’s is a welcoming congregation committed to carrying out our mission statement to “Welcome, Nurture, Equip, and Send.”

Worship With Us

Sundays at 8:30 and 11:00 am (thru 5/19)

Summer Sundays: One service at 9:30am (begins 5/26)

Pastors Kevin Kretzmann Farrar and Ann Williams lead the services and share preaching responsibilities each week, with the assistance of lay liturgists and worship helpers.

Services can be attended in-person or viewed on
our livestream.

We’re beginning a Special Appeal to renew our building and keep it in good condition into the future, to keep pace with the vitality and optimism of our mission.

We have a list of projects to fulfill this goal: new carpeting, repave the parking lot, seal the roof leaks, updates to doors and windows, repurpose the Bride’s Chapel to be more family-friendly; enhance worship technology and update the organ. The goal is $300,000.

We are currently DEBT-FREE and wish to raise this amount to pay for the updates in 2024 and 2025 through your commitments to the projects.

BUILDING RENEWAL: A two-year plan for updating the building and parking lot

St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) from which many of our social principles are based. A Vision and Mission Statement guide the people and ministries of St. Matthew’s.

On Sunday mornings during the school year, Sunday school meets from 9:45-10:45am. There will also be an adult education presentation on most Sundays, which generally runs from 9:45-10:45am.

Worship services will be live streamed, for watching from home in real time, and also recorded, for watching at your convenience later.  Holy Communion will be offered at all services.
